Salam Aleykum and peace to all,
I wanted to make this thread taking inspiration from the thread "atheist logic". Muslims and non-Muslims are welcomed as well.
Let's have a look at what Quran say for the issue firstly,
"the Most Gracious is firmly established on the Throne" (20:5)
"Verily your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then He established Himself on the Throne. Regulating and governing all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His leave (hath been obtained). This is Allah your Lord; Him therefore serve ye: will ye not receive admonition?" (10:3)
"Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; then He established Himself on the Throne; He has subjected the sun and the moon! Each one runs (its course) for a term appointed. He doth regulate all affairs, explaining the signs in detail, that ye may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord." (13:2)
Quran says that Allah is on the Throne but,
"When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close: I respond to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way" (2:186)
"Say: "If I am astray, I only stray to the loss of my own soul: but if I receive guidance, it is because of the inspiration of my Lord to me: it is He Who hears all things, and is near."" (34:50)
"It was We Who created man, and We know what suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than jugular vein" (50:16)
Quran says the He is also so close to us even nearer than our jugular vein.
So what do you think where Allah is?
