if a thief sees two houses one is plain and bare ahile the other is beautiful and lit up with treasures and jewels inside...which house will the thief choose to steal from?

obviously the house which is full of treasures...

our hearts are the same- the person whose heart has hardly any iman or good thoughts and deeds- is shaytan gonna bother him? or will he try and get the person whose heart is full of iman and good deeds and love for Allah...

of course shaytan is going to choose the second because that was his promise- that he will try and take with him to hell as many of Adam (a)'s descendants as he could...

half of Ramadan is past and soon Eid will come and the devils will be let out again...

we need to ask ourselves whether we have spent this blessed month strengthening our iman enough to combat the devil when he comes back...

or are we still too weak that our nafs controls us...

how one can tell if Allah has accepted their prayers and fasts is if they feel a change, ie if they have changed for the better insha allah.

May Allah help us all and accept all our fasts and grants us all jannat-al- firdaws insha allah amiin.

:sl: thumma ameen! that is so true..he aint gonna bother with someone hu aint got no imaan to begin with so build up your defence insha'Allah and you will succeed! :D gotta go...:w: :)

yes exactly

some people get confused why life becomes so difficult for them when they are so good and close to Allah wnd is so easy for those who are not...

:sl:

thts what jihad is all about...its not just goin onto the battlefield...jihad of the nafs, keepin away from shaytaan and not givin in to him is the most difficult for a Muslim...but if we build up our Imaan our defence will be strong and he wont be able to penetrate Insha'Allah. :) :w:

Masha'allah Nice.

This reminds me of that Athar. When the Jews told the Muslims that Satan never bothers them in their Prayers. Then Ibn Abbaas ( or was it Anas bin Maalik? :X ) Said " And what interest does the Satan have in hearts which are in ruins? "
