My guess is Thierry Henry - and its pretty hard to say that as a Spurs fan! Rooney is another possible, he was training with the England team yesterday and despite earlier doom and gloom it wouldn't surprise me if he actually started in the first game now.

You never know though, some who should shine are often anonymous, and sometimes you see brilliant play from players you have never heard of, especially from the African countries.

Personally from my point of view the best player of FIFA world cup wud be the brazilains......coz there simply the best, got many skills, confident and play as a team!

I have to choose two players, if thats okay? i'll go for ronaldo and ronaldiniho.....no can be better then them...

Defintely Messi - just look how he played in the Champions League and most probably he will be one of the finest young player.
