Why is the time of Qiyamah hidden?

Can someone tell me why the time of Qiyamah hidden? Any news from Quran or hadith?

If my mom told me - "I'm going out, will be back soon, don't play on your playstation".

I'm not going to play on it.

If she said - "I'm going out, will be back at 5:00pm, don't play on your playstation".

I'm going to play on it till 4pm atleast.

Anyways, the point I'm making is, if we knew the exact day of Judgement day, we would act alot differently to how we naturally are, almost deceiving.
