Peace
I was watching this Iranian movie detailing the life of Prophet Abraham from an Islamic perspective, and near the end he builds the Kaaba. Obviously, you're used to seeing the Kaaba with the Kiswah over it, but this movie reminded me that underneath is is just a grey brick structure. So my question is, why the need for the Kiswah? Is it for religious reasons ir purely aesthetic reasons?
