Implemented Why this forum is confusing

There are way too many unnecessary subforums, and on other forums there are two main ones. The point is there are 50 on IB and it's too scattered.

That's why there is no focus. Join as many of them as possible.
 
I visit only in 10 sections/subforums total but I don´t say that other ones are unnecessary. They might be useful and important to some others. It´s nice that here is a plenty of choices.
 
I suppose the topics became far and wide, heck, it is the deen, way of life. Can it merged so easily?

Classifications of posts/ threads into groups or from groups to sections or how ever it has evolved according to member contribution.

Sometimes I'm not sure where to put my post and the mods usually will move to the appropriate place.

I've just begun posting today and I find the forum quite easy to navigate.
 
I don't mind it, it's nice. A person could quite easily wander the sub forums..

Although the additional of latest threads, posts makes it easier to stay relevant..

I thought it was confusing at first too but you get used to it, it don't bother me now and I'm not fussed about it.

Before there used to be 2 sections one for feedback and one for computer problems. They were merged into one, few weeks ago.

Any others parts you find cluttered?

I think this forum has way too many subsections. It makes the whole discussions then 'scattered' around and gives a feeling of deadliness to this forum.

As many subsections as possible should be merged to make things more unified.

Currently sects and division and methodology have been merged into Aqeedah.

More plans are on the way :).

If you have any section name ideas, or what to merge please let us know.

Section changes and updates

- Forum repository removed, sections inside there moved to other sections..
- "Sects & Divisions" and "Methodology" merged into "Aqeedah"
- "Exchange links" changed name to "Share your Links". This section is now under "Business & Islamic Finance"
- New Life style section which includes Health & Science, Education Issues, Business & Islamic Finance, Islamic Events, Languages Forum.
- All Languages have been minimized to "Languages Forum", takes up less space now.
- Many forum descriptions updated.
- "Puzzles & Humour" changed name to "Halal Fun".

Looks much better now :).
 
May Allah swt reward you for your efforts, the forum looks less cluttered now.
