well its a common question on many forums, and I was reminded of it in this forum aswell...why do you choose the name you have?
 
Assalam alaikum,

I choose my own muslim name because I am proud of it and it reminds me that I am muslim even though I live in the 'west'.

firstly, there is already a guy called Amir on this forum (its so annoying when ppl say somthing 2 u, when OBVIOUSLY they meen the other dude )
secondly, aamir is my real name. the saab bit i just ended as lick joke - u know like: farhansaab, osman saab, george bush saab (sorry that just came out)

if u mean real name: well, i didnt pick my real name - i believe it was my grandad - he rocks man

but me grand - dad seriously does rock man - pitty i dont get 2 see him much - he lives in pakistan and only visits once in a while. but the great thing is: he' coming in a couple o weeks. cant w8
