I have posted a lot today. It has been a pleasure. I do enjoy intelligent discussions.
I hope that I am welcome.
I call myself a “Devout Agnostic”. Because the existence of god can never be proved or disproved, I accept that either is possible. But in the end, I do believe in god and thank him daily for all that he has given me.
I am committed to equality and freedom. I challenge all that conceder themselves or there group superior to others. I’m committed to freedom of speech, religion, and thought. Again I challenge those that don’t conceder these freedoms Human Rights. I enjoy open discussions of why people think and feel the way they do. I enjoy history and how individual interpretation of it affects people’s attitudes. I like to think that I am opened minded and tolerant. Though I may not respect what you say, I will respect you and your right to say it and hope that I will receive the same.
As a non-Muslim, I have no plans to post in any Islamic discussions. As a devout agnostic, I have no interest in joining any formal religious sect. Since “The purpose of this forum is to educate non-Muslims and Muslims about Islam and its tenets”, does not really fit my reason for being here, I again say “I hope that I am welcome”.
