Wiping out one's sin

What are the different ways in wiping out one's sins? For example there is praying and asking forgiveness on Lailatul qadr and also keeping the Ashura fasts. Which other ways are there and please will you give detail? Jazakallah Khair. :happy:

ummm there is also fasting Day of Arafat (if ur not at Arafat) i believe that Allah forgives ur sins for previous year and the year to come. SUbhanAllah - sorry i dont have the daleel for it tho.
