witr & Tahajjud prayers question

If I understand right, witr & tahajjud go like this.

After Isha(including the 2 sunnah if anyone does them) you pray witr, which is 3 rakat. Then you go to sleep but wake up before fajr time & pray tahajjud, which is 2 rakat at a time until you finish with 11, one being by itself.


Is this right?

If you pray 3 rakat witr before sleeping, then in Tahajjud you don't have to pray an odd rakat. It will be simply multiples of 2 rakat at a time, as much as you can.


But if you did not pray witr before sleeping, then you can pray it at the end of Tahajjud.
