If you’ve successfully managed to capture the heart of the opposite gender through carefully handpicked, highly edited and unrealistic presentations of yourself, then cry heavily over yourself. Very heavily.
Do you know why?
Because little do you realise that Shaytan has used you as his tool to take the heart of another Muslim away from Allah.
Does that please you?
The angriest the Prophet PBUH was *ever* seen was when he was informed of a companion who was causing his people hardship because of how long his prayer was as he led them. So the Prophet PBUH gathered the people and said:
يا أيها الناس إن منكم منفرين!!
“O people! Some of you are turning people away from Islam!!”
Abu Mas’ood, the narrator of this incident, said: “In my life, I have never seen the Prophet PBUH as angry as he was during that sermon”
Pause here for a moment ..
If this was how he reacted simply because of someone’s excessively long prayer in congregation, then how would he have reacted to what some of us are doing today?!
Thus he would always say in his du’ah, اللهم واجعلنا هداة مهتدين، غير ضالين ولا مضلين
“O Allah, make us amongst those who guide and are guided, not amongst those who misguide and are misguided.”
Guide to Jannah using all what you have.
The invitation must not be to ourselves.
