As salam-o-alikum brothers & sisters,

My father-in-law passed away before my wife and I were married and that leaves my brother-in-law as the only breadwinner of his family. I know his financial situation is difficult. He has several individuals that depend on him (expecting wife, elderly mother, younger sister).

Would it be permissible for me to assist him financially in the form of zakah?

:wa:

Yes , if he is under the Nisab level and really poor. Except to your Mother Father and children and wife you can Give Zakat to anyone & the Most closest relations is the best .
