(*) Zikr of the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah(*)

[Ridwaan Ravat]

Rasulullah *صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم **has taught us to increase the *recitation of:

Tasbeeh: *سُبْحَانَ اللّهُ

Tahleel: لآ اِلَهَ اِلّا اللّهُ

Tahmeed: اَلْحَمْدُلِلّه

Takbeer: اللَّهُ أَكْبَر

on the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah. ****

One may recite this zikr individually or in the form of the 3rd kalimah.

"There are no days greater in the sight of Allah (including Ramadhaan) & in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Him than these 10 days, so during this time recite a great deal of Tahleel (La ilaaha ill-Allah), Takbeer (Allaahu Akbar) and Tahmeed (Al Hamdu Lil-laah)."

Hadhrat ibn Abbaas (Radhiallahu Anhuma) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:

“There are no days in the year wherein the worship of Allah Ta’ala is greater (in reward) and more beloved to Him than the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah. Therefore increase the recitation of Tasbeeh, Tahmeed, Tahleel and Takbeer i.e.

سُبْحَانَ الله ، الحَمْدُ لِلَّه ، لَا اِلَهَ إلَّا الله ، اَللهُ اَكْبَر

Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaaha ill-Allah, Allaahu- Akbar
