Could i ask a question? When someone is fasting and u see them eating (forgetfully) are u supposed to remind them that they are fasting? I dunno i'm confused...
ssalamu alaikum. I had some question about celebrating eid. I celebrated last eid with with all my friend away from home, however, back home everyone was celebrating eid on a different day. this made me think. what does the Quran or the Hadith say about the viewing of moon? if someone has seen it somewhere else in the world, doesnt it mean that eid should be celebrated on the next day everywhere? what if i used Nasa's website to find the status of the moon. is that legitimate? I just want some direct answers from someone who knows about this so i can celebrate eid the right way from now on.
If a person is mainly healthy, but they have diabetes, a condition that requires you eat small amounts of healthy low-starch, sugar free foods often throughout the day, are they obligated to fast?
As always, forgive me if any of my questions seem ignorant, I know little about Islam.
I believe your question is answered by the following:
But if fasting will harm you, or it will cause you great difficulty, or you need to take medicine during the day, then it is permissible for you not to fast in that case. If you will never be able to make up the fasts in the future, then you have to feed one poor person for each day.
