I understand how important these prayers are (the 5 is it?) as you guys know about my situation at home ( super Christian) I also have a family of six and privacy is very hard to achieve how am I suppose to do my prayers? also I wont be able to do prayers for like.. what? maybe at max a week? I got allot of learning to do... Will Allah count this as a sin against me?
Arabic can be tricky. I've lived with a native arabic speaker (aka my husband) for 3 years, and I'm still hopeless in most cases :blind:
I'm not sure if I've given you this piece of advice yet, so here it is (and if I have, it bears repeating) :
Don't try to learn too much too fast. Allah (swt) in His infinate wisdom revealed the Qur'an over a 23 year period of time. He didn't chuck it down to earth one day and say memorize this, there will be a test tomorrow! No, He gave it to us over a 23 year period, and with the best of all possible teachers, the Prophet Muhammad (saws). The Prophet (saws) and his companions were the best generation of muslims, but it took them 23 years to learn islam.
In short, you don't need to learn everything overnight. Focus on your prayers, ask a few questions each day, but don't burn yourself out. I've seen way too many converts who get really excited and try to change everything in their lives in a short period of time. Eventually, some will burn out because it's too much too soon and will stop practicing. I'm not saying this will be you, but slow and steady wins the race, ya know?
I have received a site from MZ with what will hopefully be an awesome step by step visual introduction to the 5 daily prayers but I need a written printable site with how to perform the 5 daily prayers that way I can start practicing in private as I have no computer in a private place.
Islam is the TRUTH!!

prayer cards I made. Has a line in arabic, followed by the meaning in english. Read the arabic aloud, then the english meaning silently to yourself, and in no time, you'll have the arabic and it's meaning memorized inshaAllah.
