I don't think chocolate in general is really the problem, it's posh chocolates that uses alcohol (named 'liquor' to enhance the poshness) that are.

anyway, best thing to do in these situations is just ring up the company and ask if they add alcohol/haraam ingredient...

pfft, some of those things you hear about certain products containing haram ingredients are blown out of proportion..
