I bought some Itr a year ago and after using it, skin around my neck started to dry up. Then I tried another Itr several months later and the same thing happened. What I normally do is take a little swab and then rub it around chest, neck, hair and behind ears. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Note that both perfumes were from different retailers.
depending on the severity and can lead to anything from severe itching, difficulty breathing, skin denuding to death..
your dryness probably means that your itr has alcohol in it, I wouldn't use it directly on my skin unless it was pure oil and free from alcohol..

Unless you know one hundred percent the Ittar is from a reputable firm, avoid it like the plague. There are some unscrupulous traders selling all sorts of crap as Ittar. My son's been trading Ittar with school friends and I wanted to scream when I saw that it had left dark brown marks on all his white school jubba's. I don't know what's in those Ittars but the marks didn't even come off when I washed his uniform at 95 degrees. Can you give us the name and brand please?
