Re: How to answer this best way

If Islam really is a religion of peace and Allah is a loving God then why?

The Qur'an never once speaks of Allah's love for non-Muslims, but it speaks of Allah's cruelty toward and hatred of non-Muslims more than 500 times
Simple. Allah loves those that obey him.

Non-muslims are going against Allah's commands. So naturally they will be warned.

Keep in mind that punishment for going against Allah's commands is not unique to non-muslims. Lost and misguided muslims are also spoken against in firm words.

One simply has to become a muslim and do as Allah has said if he wants to be loved.
