CIA infiltration of the media is not based on conspiracy. It is well documented and was uncovered by a US Congressional committee in the 1970s. They then whitewashed it.

Carl Bernstein, one of the reporters who broke the Watergate scandal, has written an expose on the CIA’s relationship with the media.
