Yes, Maurice Bacaiile is amazing. Some of his stuff has gone out of date, but none of the Quran contradicts science.
Some people argue that the Ancient Greeks, or the Bible, or the Romans, or some other civilisation made statements similar to those in the Quran. But all of these, aside from the Quran itself, make mistakes as well. And the Greeks and Romans were quite scientifically advanced civilisations, not a group of Arab tribes in a desert without any real advances in science.
I don't know how I'll contact him. I can't talk on the phone, my parents will hear.
I'm going to Cornwall on Saturday, Insha'Allaah, so I won't be able to contact you for a few days. But I'll still be here today, Insha'Allaah!
couldn't you contact him from a payphone brother?? or a mobile?
you seem to be so scared of your parents brother..inshaAllah dont worry..everything will be alright in the end..just be optimistic and dont worry at all

I decided to post up this topic because I only learned about it yesterday. It is a really prevalent issue - and I can understand why. It is about Cyberbullying. "Cyberbullying involves the use of information and communication technologies such as e-mail, cell phone and pager text messages, instant messaging, defamatory personal Web sites, and defamatory online personal polling Web sites, to support deliberate, repeated, and hostile behaviour by an individual or group, that is intended to harm others."
A 2002 British survey found that one in four youth, aged 11 to 19 has been threatened via their computers or cell phones, including death threats

I think we all have to remember that the world wide web is a huge place, and that in many ways we are quite vulnerable.
Even in a forum, like this, where people are to some extend monitored, you never know who you are communicating with!
It is easy to open up and get chatty in this seemingly anonymous environment, but we should be very careful about what information we give out to others! Personal information and personal details should not be given out, unless we are very sure that a person is trustworthy!
I have been in the chatroom, and after a five-minute-chat people are very happy to exchange e-mail addresses.
We should be much more cautious than that!
be safe! :thankyou:

Most of these weirdos who threaten people are just sad, fat, spotty, socially-inept girly men who feel big about sending virtual death threats over cyberspace.

It's the pedos you should be worried about.
That said, good find and good post, F.Y.
Umm..you trying to say that u have to be 'girly' to be a bully? ..but i agree with the rest..
c'mon all the same..you're giving a negative connotation to the word girly..so why not give the whole long definition you jus gave as a replacement to the adjective 'girly' ?
True said..Getting back on topic..
I must say I've never experienced cyber bullying..I don't know of anyone who has either..is this meant to be common or something?

Talk about stereotyping!
Do you really mean that? And where do you gain such knowledge from? Just how many sad, fat, spotty, socially-inept girly cyber bullies have you come across??? :X
Peace.

It's wrong of me to stereotype, and I know how much upset cyberbullying can cause people. Can't deny that a sizeable chunk of these cyber-stalkers/cyber-bullies are losers with no lives, though. I was also trying to console people in some bizarre manner - you know, 'hey don't worry about that turd-brain sending you menacing IMs, he's a fool AND a tool'
Actually, anyonr can be a cyberbully. It can be someone in your class who keeps texting you with threatening messages, or taking a pic of you with their phone whilst you're in the changing rooms and sending it to other classmates, etc.
The sad thing is, people have been so bullied there have even been stories of suicide.
These are examples of types of cyberbullying:
Sending cruel, vicious, and sometimes threatening messages .
Creating web sites that have stories, cartoons, pictures, and jokes ridiculing others.
Posting pictures of classmates online and asking students to rate them, with questions such “Who is the biggest ___ (add a derogatory term)?”
Breaking into an e-mail account and sending vicious or embarrassing material to others.
Engaging someone in IM (instant messaging), tricking that person into revealing  sensitive personal information, and forwarding that information  to others.
Taking a picture of a person using a digital phone  camera and sending that picture to others.
Stay safe people. Dont randomly give out personal information.

And tell the cops. I'm sure the law of harassment covers bozos like this. It might even be GBH if it's serious enough (e.g. causes clinical depression). It worked for stalkers.
Yes, if you are being harrassed, it is advised to write down dates, usernames, times, messages - save everything. Go to the Police. They have programs that can track ISP's and they can find the person who is sending this stuff.
brother AlphaDude - its only partially true that they lack morals. Sometimes it can be about having that sense of authority - like face-to-face bullies want. Having that feeling of wanting to hurt someone - just because something in your life is not going right.
Peace

That was very brave. Many people are cyberbullies without even realising it. I think I can attest to being cyberbullied once - but it wasn't so serious that I wanted to commit suicide or anything like that.
