    Assalamu Alaykum

This provides a more clear picture:

    http://site19.iqservices.com/wp-cont...8/taweez-1.jpg

Its an amulet written by Abdullah al-Fa'iz ad-Daghestani of Sufi Naqshbandi order for protection against evil forces.According to Abdullah,He was told in a "vision" by the Prophet (SAAWS) saying that this will protect the wearer/holder.

    Following is the Transliteration:

If you can read Qur'an,you can translate above on your own and able to to know its full of shirk i.e invoking others to help instead of Allah(SWT).

And do not invoke besides Allah that which neither benefits you nor harms you, for if you did, then indeed you would be of the wrongdoers. And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him; and if He intends for you good, then there is no repeller of His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. [Al-Qur'an 10:106-107]

No,I don't have translation. There are more than one mentioned in this talisman like Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali (r),Hassan, Hussayn, Yahya,Shahamatul Fardani, Yusuf asSiddiq, ‘AbdurRauf al Yamani, Imamul ‘Arifin Amanul Haqq, Lisanul mutakallimin ‘AwnallahasSakhawi, ‘Arif atTayyar, alMa’ruf bi Mulhan, Burhanul Kurama Ghawthil Anam,ya Sahib azZaman Muhammad alMahdi, ya ‘Isa, wa Sahib alUnsur, ya Khidr. While some of them are significant figures, there are others who belong to the same order which author adheres to.This is very typical of amulets based on religion,a mixture of lies and truth.

Since I used the word amulet,so you said what you know about amulets and its right. However, above cannot be considered amulet in a traditional sense. Its something very open and known as "Naqshbandi Seal" to common Muslims. This makes things more sinister, while knowing its there doesn't raise alarms what you are holding is based on falsehood.

    I wrote it above:

Maybe I got the wrong impression by your question, kindly rephrase.
