Right.
I was listening some scholar who was explaining that the capital of Ethopia is Abaaba. The language there now a days is 'emharik'. But formally in old age the language there was different. And 'emharik' is decendent of that language which was 'geez' (جَعْزٌ ). That is a sister of Arabic.
I thought maybe they also given their native languages some other names.

Re: Arabic-English translation requests
Assalaamu `Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuh.
Alhamdulillaah, through the Fadhl of Allaah `Azza wa Jall, I know Al-Lughat-ul-`Arabiyyah. If any of the members here have anything in Arabic which they wish to have translated into English, then they should post it, and I will translate it when I get the time, Inshaa'Allaah. However, you must understand that translation requires both time and effort, hence, do not request for translations to be rendered of nonsensical or unnecessary Arabic texts; post those items which you feel there is a need for, so that some benefit may be accrued.
Baarakallaahu Feekum.

Wa `Alaykumus Salaam wa Rahmatullaahi Ta`aalaa wa Barakaatuh.
I did not see the above post as I have not been here in a while.
الرغب من الرغیبۃ و ہی ما یرغب فیہ
