    Report bad ads?

Actully, we are in family busines and now when i learn i am 100% sure that some part (not all) is haram.

Acatully, we are not able to control our employer or people to give 100% product to the client, i am now lose hope that i can have control over that so i definately want to shift my busienss and i am planning too.

Now, i found very very good offer, and it from my relative and its 100% halal i think , but the issue is my mother is stopping me to start business with them due to close relationship, I beg and try my best to start a new busienss so i can stop from gettign haram but not sure why my mother is stopping me to to busniess , i know we can have sometime isssue when we do busienss in close relationship.

So my only intention is please pray for me that Allah will open source for me to 100% halal income.

Re: Dua for earning halal income?

    I hope this helps

    http://islamqa.info/en/149161

    1.

Fearing Allah (taqwa), which means doing what Allah has commanded and refraining from what He has forbidden. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).

And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine” [65:2-3].

    2.

Seeking forgiveness (istighfar). Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

    “I [Nooh] said (to them): ‘Ask forgiveness from your Lord, verily, He is Oft‑Forgiving;

‘He will send rain to you in abundance,

‘And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers” [71:10-12].

And Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And (commanding you): “Seek the forgiveness of your Lord, and turn to Him in repentance, that He may grant you good enjoyment, for a term appointed, and bestow His abounding grace to every owner of grace (i.e. the one who helps and serves the needy and deserving, physically and with his wealth, and even with good words). But if you turn away, then I fear for you the torment of a Great Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)” [11:3].

Hence al-‘Allamah Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned istighfar (seeking forgiveness) in the eighteenth chapter of his book al-Wabil al-Sayyib among the adhkar (words of remembrance) that bring provision and ward off difficulty and hardship.

    3.

    Du‘a (supplication).

It was narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to say after Fajr prayer: “Allahumma inni as aluka rizqan tayyiban wa ‘ilman naafi‘an wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan (O Allah, I ask You for a good (halal) provision, beneficial knowledge and accepted deeds).” [Ahmad, Ibn Maajah].

Yahya ibn Mu‘adh al-Razi (d. 258 AH) -- who was one of the elite of the salaf (early generations) -- said: “Obedience is stored up in the stores of Allah; its key is du‘a and its means is permissible earnings. End quote.

    To sum up:

We do not know any specific surah in the Quran which is proven in any (sound) report to bring provision and make it easy to earn a living, but fearing Allah (taqwa) in general -- which includes reading and pondering the Quran -- is one of the means prescribed in sharee‘ah to bring provision. At the same time it is essential to take appropriate physical measures and rely on Allah in one’s heart to make things easier.

    And Allah knows best.

Re: Dua for earning halal income?

You know, this is something I really don't know what to think. If we were to live life in pain, we would never know life without it, and can become numb to lesser pain (thinking it is normal). Likewise we are living in a world of riba' and we know not of a world that is not based on riba'. Hence our lives are in what I would call the 'numbness to the little pain' accepting riba' as part and parcel of life. If we have savings, it is deposited in a bank account giving interests and our facilities are paid back with interest, it is the same funds that we feed ourselves, put clothes on our bodies and pay for the shelter move our heads...

    Where is the line?

Especially now with the current business climate where in order to gain the business or contract, something must be offered back and if most people practice this, those who do not will quickly find themselves out of business.. How do we overcome this?

Only way is to tear ourselves away from the maddening city life and live out in a self sustaining community (if it can be found). Is this the way?

Anyway, I heard in a sermon a few years back that the zakat we give from our earnings washes the 'sin' aspect? So, to remove was-was, it is best we donate to charity generously. Perhaps that would give barakah to the earnings?

For when my heart does stop its beat, with truth, I die.
