Other day I was talking to a brother on Facebook. He is basically from India but lives in Riyadh. During our discussion, he was boasting of how cunningly, he was earning from the company apart from his regular salary. When I told him, the way he is earning is haram. He was justifying that he (i) came so far away from his family (ii) have higher cost of living, so he needs to earn more. I explained to him that brother you earn more by growing in your career by learning new skills and not by cheating the company. Until, I explained him that he was earning haram money, for which he was disappointed. He was thinking that he got some extra talents through which he is making an extra income. This encouraged me to write few incidents, which today's Muslim think greatness, while in reality they are earning haram.
