What is blind Faith ?
Based on a blind faith (without logic/'Ilm/evidences), how can you be sure if you are a muslim or a kafir?
With a blind faith, you can follow bid'ahs or shirk or you can be a kafir.
Besides, how can muslims convince a non muslim who has no faith to follow islam : do they inject faith in his heart without talking to him ? no they first talk to his mind with evidences and with logic, and then based on these evidences he can believe in what you said and develop a faith which can be solidified with ibadat (acts of worship).

What he means by blind faith is this idea that's mostly in Christianity that "you just have to believe", like believe in the religion just because it's true without any rational explanation.
As for the answer:
Absolutely no, Islam is completely different to other religions as Allah SWT repeated asks in the Qur'an "أفلا يتفكرون؟"
Which very roughly translates to "don't they think?"
Which is a rhetorical question meaning that Allah is telling you to think, be rational, question and use your mind. Only then will you come to the clear truth which is that Islam is the right religion.
If you want a place to start. You can Google the scientific miracles of the Qur'an. I would recommend the free books by Dr. Zakir naik. Or the book called "forbidden prophecies"
