Salam my question is I know that hoarding of wealth is haram in Islam I know hoarding is diffrent from saving wealth which is saving money for a purpose and or to spend later ? I know Islam has zakat which is obligatory charity and sadaqah which is voluntary charity my question is since zakat is 2.5% which is a low rate what happens if the zakat rate is not enough or does not get enough revenue to help all the poor and the wealthy or the rich are not giving to sadaqah or voluntary charity or there is a famine high unemployment poverty and hoarding of wealth what would or should the Islamic State do ? Can Wealth and Property Farms ever be Confiscated by the Islamic State ?

Islam has made it lawful to save gold and silver, for it means the accumulation of money for a purpose. Islam has also permitted a man to save money in order to accumulate a dowry for a woman he wishes to marry, or to save money in order to go to Hajj etc. The saver would only have to pay the Zakat due on the accumulated money if it reached the Nisab and remained in his possession for a full year. When the verse was revealed prohibiting the hoarding of gold and silver, these two metals represented at the time the units of exchange and measure of the effort spent (in work) and the units of value put on goods, services and properties, whether these were minted or not; the prohibition was therefore directly linked to the fact that they represented the unit of exchange.
The hoarding of gold and silver was prohibited explicitly in the Qur’an. Allah says: “And let those who hoard gold and silver and do not spend them in the way of Allah know that a severe and painful punishment is awaiting them.” [At-Tauba: 34]
This warning of severe punishment for those who hoard gold and silver serves as a clear evidence that the Law Giver has decisively ordered us to refrain from doing so; it is therefore forbidden to hoard gold and silver(money).

i mean this year your doing a little too well.
maybe you prefer communism.
i mean you could take it if you really wanted but i doubt the government know how to look after farms.
maybe they would have to re-employ the previous owner to manage them.
i guess what im trying to get at is that you can throw as much money as you like at problems but having people that can actually solve them will get you farther...
and probably make better advisors.

actually its just my opinion.
maybe it has been done in the past, but today who would you take from? and why?
at what point does the good of the state become something that is no longer the good of the people?

I don't support Communism. Communists pretend to be the friends of the working people and friends of the poor people and the workers or working class. Communism was started by Wealthy Jewish Elites to enslave the Gentile Workers.

Islam isn't anti being rich, there were many rich Muslims who were pious, abu bakr spent a great deal of his fortune freeing slaves from torture, if you want to just give zakat it is fine too, but sadaqah is also good and many are the doors to heaven, one for those who fast, one for those who pray and one for those who spend in the cause of Allah. Communism isn't a part of Islamic system neither is ruthless capitalism I don't want to make Islam akin to a socialist system but it has a similar idea..

i think here are two things "wajib or fard" and "ahsan". the first one is obligatory and u have to do it else u will be sinful, that is zakat which is 2.5 %. the later one is preferable but if u dont do it u will not be sinful but its not very desirable, that is sadqa. islam is very flexible and its complete religion upto end of time, so it allows u can accumulate money but its strongly stress if u have money, spent it on needy ppl in form of sadqa and charity. bcz its also against the humanity that someone is dying of hunger and u didn't help them. but agian u r the master of ur money and u have to decide what to do with it. if u love Allah SWt and want to make him happy then spent it on needy and He will reward u minimum 10 times u spent.
personally i am very uncomfortable with both capitalism and communism. bcz its something that is imposed on u with force otherwise u r willing for it. eg i don't want to pay huge amount of tax from my salary bcz i have no concern with what govt is doing with my tax rather there r things i am against them (like fighting in Afghanistan). same in communism u r not the master of ur money and u cant spent in way u want. so i think unlike islam all these financial system makes u slaves and obliged however Islamic system is flexible with only 2.5% obligatory (that also has many conditions) and rest is upto ur willing.
