Question on Iblis

The Jannah we are all aiming for is slightly different from the Jannah Adam(as) and Iblis were in. The location might have been the same, but certainly the rulings were not. For in the Eternal Jannah, all it's inhabitants are pure, sinning is impossible, there are no trails in it. The Jannah that Adam(as) and Iblis were in - all of these existed. Iblis always had pride in some corner of his heart it only showed up in the test/trail of prostrating to Adam(as), also Adam(as) was tested and he sinned.

It is clear that they were both in a state of trail, they both had the honor of choice. Both failed in their test, the command from Allah to not eat from the tree for Adam and the command for Iblis to prostrate. While Adam(as) chose to accept his mistake and seek Allah's forgiveness, Iblis chose to persists in rebelling against Allah.

So the Jannah they were in was in this regard different from the Eternal Jannah we are all aiming for. In the Eternal Jannah, all it's inhabitants will be completely purified before they enter it. Inside it there will be no more trails, no more prohibitions, no more evil, no more sins, no more ignoble qualities such as pride, envy. In the Eternal Jannah the one he enters can never be expelled from it, it is pure and its inhabitants are pure. All are in a perfect state of Felicity and Gratitude.

Gratitude is the key ingredient, everyone in the Eternal Jannah will be completely grateful to the blessings and mercy Allah swt will give them. Whether they are in the lowest rank in Jannah or the highest, they are completely content and satisfied.

وَآخِرُ دَعْوَاهُمْ أَنِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allah , Lord of the worlds!" [Quran 10:10]

Nobody in Heaven would oppose God-so how will Allah test their obedience??? By creating Prophet Adam peace be upon him, and asking for Satan to bow down to him proved his disobedience. Satan would not oppose Allah personally, he had plenty of time to think things through-already hearing about that God was going to create humans before Prophet Adam peace be upon him was already created. So he was already competitive, but as no one is going to see him committing any sins, no one thought he was bad as he was doing all the right things but with the wrong intentions-that is why his prayers would not save him.

Allah gave him much, knowledge, intelligence, of course no one can say that Allah didn't give him anything. Satan is not saying there is a problem with Allah-no one would be saying that Allah would need to change, or do things differently-it was that he didn't want someone to be better then him (it wasn't about worshipping Prophet Adam peace be upon him, but showing obedience). Note that he wasn't competitive with angels- just the same test in this world its easier for people to be competitive with people who are similar to them, to easily have competition in the heart towards another person, rather then an angel or God as no one would dream of being competitive. This is the test that Allah has created for us at our level. The fact that Satan refused in heaven also shows why people are destined for Hell-were else should people go after rejecting that?? Its awful, and it shows that the sinners on the Day of Judgement who say that they would repent if given another chance are liars-as Allah has stated in the Quran they are already showing what they would be doing in heaven, if given the chance.

We have the exact same test in this world, by going against the Prophets you are being disobedient to Allah.
