    How are you all?

    This is my first post!

I had a question regarding the story of barseesa
    http://qisas.com/stories/191print/

Is this story a true reality or just something made up? Can someone please give me authentic hadeeth about this story? Jazak'allah khair!

Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed.
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrar

I just found something....kind of relating to Ibn Kathir....

2 In another narration Burseesah dies in sujjod to shaitan when shaitan promises to save him from the brothers. May Allah save us from such a Death. Ameen. This Narration is Quoted in Ibn al-Jauzi's Talbees Iblees, p.39.

    * Mufassirs like Ibn Katheer and al-Qurtubi (Rahima huma Allah) have narrated similar stories in relation to the verse
