    Is the Quran incomplete?

Salam all, there are missionary people out there who are claiming the Quran is an incomplete book because us Muslims refer to hadiths and tafsir for further explanations on certain issues, such as the prayer, and other details of stories which aren't entirely clear in the noble Quran. They claim this contradicts the fact that the Quran claims it fully explains everything and is a detailed book, hence they ask well if that's the case why the hadiths and tafsir to further explain issues if the Quran is the full explanation as it says?

Infact the group called Quranis also use this argument to prove that all info must come from the Quran alone as the Quran says it explains everything hence there is no need for other sources.

However so both groups are wrong, both groups are quoting the Quran out of context and not quoting verses together, as the scholars say, the Quran explains itself and these people have not allowed that and have only partially quoted the Quran here and there to try and prove their dubious case:

this article will be helpful for Muslims who come across either group of these people, either the missionaries, or the heretics known as the "Quranis".

A wise man says: [(not me) I agreed]

Verbal battles and swapping of refutations only leads to renewed energy (for them). Boredom and lack of finding someone to battle, causes them to loose interest and leave (for pastures new).

is it complete? it depends on what you mean.
Clearly it is deemed by many muslims to not be the end all guide.
As you stated many resort to hadiths and imitation of different individuals supposed life or actions.

    Dear
Remember one thing.Any country has two fundamental things in its legislative structure.
    1. Constituition
    2. Penal code

Constituition is set to describe fundamental principles
Penal code makes further laws to fulfill the Principle to present in the constituition.
    Constituition = Quran
    Penal code = Sunna

    Quran says = Say Salat
Sunna tells = How to say

    Quran says = perform Hajj
Sunna tells = How to perform
and so on.It is obvious that
    DEEN = SUNNA + QURAN

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) was not having the role of a postman only as the "Quranist" group thinks. He was a teacher of the book and Philosophy of the Deen also.It is not my version rather the Holy Quran assigns this role to Him (PBUH).
    Look at this Aya:

    رَبَّنَا وَابْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولاً مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ العَزِيزُ الحَكِيمُ﴿2:129﴾
(2:129) Lord, raise up from among them a Messenger who shall recite Your Revelations to them and teach them the Book and Wisdom and purify their lives. *128 You art All-Powerful and AllWise".

    Clearly Three roles :
    1:Recitation of Verses
2:Teaching of the Book (Al-Quran) and Philosophy (Hikma) of the Deen
    3:Purification of souls.

What is the modus operandi of the Quranists.
Since Deen = Quran + Sunna

First of all they Attack the Sunna by mitigating the Role of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) by following tactics :
-- Quarn is complete and fully elaborated so no need anything else
-- Attacking the weak Hadiths and after examplifying them ,they conclude that all collections of the Hadiths are rubbish and unreliable

Secondly they hit the Quran (Though called Quranist but in fact anti-Quran).
    Quran has two aspects :
    -- Words
    -- Meaning
They know they cannot change the words because of unconditional protection by almight Allah. But they do manipulate the meaning of the Quran in the name of research. They drag out more 80% words from their original meanings to "Allegorical and metaphoric "meanings.
    Hope it helps.
