Masjid Balai Rong Sri, Kedai Mulong, Kelantan, Malaysia
This traditional architecture mosque was actually a meeting hall of a palace in Kelantan city-state. It was turned into a mosque when the palace servants heard that it was going to be demolished, and there were no mosque in the village of Kedai Mulong. It was very difficult for them to conduct congregational prayer and religious rituals without a proper mosque.
They had collected alms from the villagers around and using it to buy the building and renovated the meeting hall with the addition of Mihrab space and it was completed as a mosque around 1958. The traditional buildings made of woods were easily removed from a place to a place.

Masjid al-Malik Khalid, Malaysian Science University Main Campus
This place is my alma mater and I will always remember this mosque. I don't really have friends in the university and most of my colleague were quite socialize people.
When I had any problem in the varsity and feel down or sad, I will go to cry in the mosque, pray, i3tikaf, and reciting quran. So, this mosque is quite memorable for me.

Masjid as-Saleh, Sana'a, Yemen
My ancestral land!!! I would like to visit this country if I've got chances, insh'Allah!
^ It's a very beautiful masjid!
I've always like the Catholic church, 'Basilica of St John Lateran'. Contrary to popular belief, this is the official church of the Pope, not the famous St Peter's Basilica. It is located in Rome.
All these places are beautifully ornate. But does anyone else ever ask themselves why we (people of all faiths) build such magnficient (and expensive) structures for a God who does not live in buildings made by human hands?
