I have had an interesting revelation about the Biblical story of genesis, and am wondering if I can get the opinion of Christians and muslims on this board about it.

I think this story explains both our human biological evolution and the existential questions we humans share, when both Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge, they became aware of themselves as beings that are both separate from nature while being part of it.

This is why they felt naked and ashamed, they had just evolved into human beings, capable of being conscious of themselves, conscious of their own mortality, their imperfection and powerlessness before the forces of nature, they were no longer one with the universe as they had been in their pre-conscious animal existence.

This is how I view the story of Adam & Eve, and by this I can say that is is truthful indeed.
