Re: 700 similarities between the Bible and Islam book

Here is a snippet from the book, it is 448 pages and only 20$

From the book “700 similarities between the Bible and Islam by Muhammad Amin”

“-Helping others is like helping God-

The Bible says: “For I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? ‘When did we see You a stranger and take you in, or naked and clothe you? Or when did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to You, in as much as you did it to one of the least of those my brethren, you did it to me.’” (Matthew 25:35-40)

    • The Islamic text below refers to God while the Biblical text seems to be referring to Jesus. Nonetheless they are almost identical.

Prophet Muhammad said “Verily, Allah, the Exalted, and Glorious will say on the Day of Resurrection: ‘O son of Adam, I was ill but you did not visit Me.’ He would say: ‘O my Rubb(Lord), how could I visit you and You are the Rubb of the worlds?’ Thereupon He would say: ‘Did you not know that such and such a slave of Mine was ill but you did not visit him? Did you not realize that if you had visited him (you would have known that I was aware of your visit to him, for which I would reward you) you would have found Me with him? O son of Adam, I asked food from you but you did not feed Me.’ He would submit: ‘My Rubb, how could I feed You and You are the Rubb of the worlds?’ He would say: ‘Did you not know that such and such a slave of Mine asked you for food but you did not feed him? Did you not realize that if you had fed him, you would certainly have found (its reward) with Me? O son of Adam, I asked water from you but you did not give it to Me.’ He would say: ‘My Rubb, how could I give You (water) and You are the Rubb of the worlds?’ Thereupon He would say: ‘Such and such a slave of Mine asked you for water to drink but you did not give it to him. Did you not realize that if you had given him to drink you would have found (its reward) with Me?”’” [Related by Muslim]

Thank you so much for sharing this link. It makes so much sense when there is only 'One God'. Allah's message is profound and beyond our understanding in the ways he has informed mankind.

In the spirit of searching for a greatest meaning of 'One God'
