This has been troubling me, as I am not sure which religion is closer to Islam. What do you all think and explain why:
Which religion do you believe is closest to Islam?
Christianity
Believes that Jesus Christ is God, as the "son" part of the Trinity of the "father, son and ghost". They state that they believe in the one God, Allah that Islam and Judaism do, and that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah, and that he will finish the Messianic requirements in a "second coming". They believe that the laws of the "Old Testament" or "Hebrew Tanakh" are no longer commanded, because acceptance of Jesus is the way to heaven and Jesus died for everyones sins on the cross.
Judaism
Judaism believes in pure monotheism, and have just about the same laws that the Quran teaches. Pork, Male-Female interaction is not allowed by Traditional Jews who follow their scriptures. Jews must pray 3 times a day, and from Friday night sundown, until Saturday night sundown, they may not turn on or off a light (example: a light on must stay on) and use other machines that they believe "violates the sabbath" because of the prohibition of working and kindling fire found in the Torah along with other restrictions. Judaism however rejects Jesus and believes he was a false prophet. They still are waiting for the Messiah to come.
Did you just make this assumption based on the fact that both Muslim and Sikhs have a beard?

Muslims and Sikhs, to me, are very similar to each other in their ways of worship (SOME ways), and their geological heritage they share with each other.
The closest religion to Islaam, especially in terms of theology, is Christianity. As both religions affirm the oneness of God, the existence of angels, the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, the reality of miracles, God's grace and pre-decree, and I believe even the life of the grave is affirmed by some Christians.
Also interesting to note, that while the Religion of Al Islaam rejects the divinity of Jesus (peace be upon him), both religions accept him to be the promised messiah, and both religions believe he will be coming again before the end of the world and final judgment.
Judaism and Islam have so much in common. In fact, our differences are few. We don't see Jesus as a prophet, and I don't know how Muhammad is perceived. Some Jews say he was a false prophet, others say he was a wise philosopher. The Torah made a point to say that there never again would rise a prophet who had such a close relationship with God than Moses. God is perceived the same way. He has no partners, and does not split into a Trinity, nor does He begot nor was begotten. We pray at set times like the Muslims, only three times instead of five. Our laws of Kashrut are similar to Halal.

I'm glad that you find some commonalities between Christianity and Islam, admittedly those that you mentioned are certainly there. However, what most people fail to realize is that those which you mention were also already a part of 1st century Judaism as well. That is why there was no problem with introducing them to Christianity. The biggest different between Christianity and Islam is the view with regard to Jesus as to whether or not he was divine. This is something that Islam shares with Judaism. And though Jews do not view Jesus as the Messiah, but they certainly do understand that through the Messiah God will accomplish bring about the consumation of the world in accordance with his own divine will, as does Islam. So, I think that Boaz makes a good case for the greater similarity being between Islam and Judaism.

Not sure why you think "Oneness of God" is a similarity that can be brought up because the Christians believe in 3 Gods (Father , Son and Holy Spirit ) and not one .
They have associated Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit ( A title given to the Archangel Gabriel in Quran ) as partners of God thus doing unforgiveable sin of Shirk and are thus polytheist in their concept of God and not monotheistic like us

It's interesting that Judaism is percieved as the closest to Islam and yet there is so much enmity and hatred between Muslims and Jews.
Its not that interesting, the enmity is a relatively recent development due to the Isreal/Palestine conflict. If that conflict is ever solved much of enmity will dissipate.

More prophets were sent as the Jews had become corrupted their scriptures and needed guidance to thr right path and ,Moses knew that before when he said
For I know that after my death ye will become utterly corrupt, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands (Deuteronomy 31:25-29)"
And then many were killed as Jesus(PBUH) said :

Yep. As a matter of fact, all Christians believe there's one God.
Is that true ? I think christians belive that Jesus is a God, is he the only God they know. I'm just confused. I saw lectures about the christian belief, and it's so disturbing for me. Can you explain it to me briefly ?

Yeah, Jesus is God. Basically, Christians believe that One God reveals Himself to His creation, humanity, in three forms- God the Father, God the Son (who was Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit (the force of God still at work in the world today). Christians believe that Jesus took all sins of humanity when He was crucified, and that anyone who truly loves Jesus will be forgiven of their sins, and will not have sacrifice anything as Jesus has already sacrificed Himself. We believe His resurrection is the confirmation of Jesus' status as God, and His triumph over death and evil. That's what all Christians agree on in simple terms.
Thanks brother Supreme for the clarification. I thought that christians believe in three Gods, or tow Gods (the great God and Jesus).
Now I understand that christians only believe in one God but they believe God has three forms.
Although I'm not ok with this conception, but it's good to understand it.
