P.S. I just didn't get this bit: They shoot your mind with guilt, n they shoot ur heart with fear (i.e. the shayateen) I don't think the shaytaan (s) make us feel guilty, rather they make us feel proud and all the bad things. Fear and guilt are signs of imaan.

Sorry, don't mean to nitpick lol
lol, your nitpick made me smile. The Shayateen have numerous different ways of decieving us and leading us astray. Sometimes, when we do the right thing, and take a stand to please Allaah, the shayateen will give us wrong feelings of guilt, telling us we are too extreme when we are not, telling us we did the wrong thing when we didn't etc.
They also make us fear everything except the being that should be feared (i.e Allaah). They scare us with loneliness, poverty...etc
With these two emotions they try to break our source of strength (which comes from Allaah and knowing that He is pleased with us) and in turn weaken our stand, making us fall.
Therefore, to have knowledge and understanding of the Deen is extremely crucial, and one of the most powerful weapons which protects us against the shaytaans most devious strategies.

O Allah, give me knowledge, and help me do whats right
and in the Qur'aan it says,
"It is only those who have knowledge amongst His slaves who fear Allaah.." [35:28]
