My body, mind and heart intact
belief is more than an empty act
the devil is offering a sinful pact
    subtley attempting to distract
me from this righteous din contract.

    O Lord........
I just want to be one of those guys
who turns his head to look at the skies
with baited breath and a glint inmy eyes
and a smile even when the sinner cries

On the final day, the last of plans
mountains will turn to nought but sand
I strive to be of those who stand
And recieve their book in their right hand

Most the People are Running and crying
coz its to late now and there scared of frying
breast fed babies abandoned and lying
amid those who know theres worse than dying

Some appear drunk but their just in shock
its judgement day and were all in the dock
theres no more time left on the clock
as hell looms up and the gates unlock

There is no choice as we stand in our places
    Allah is checking individual cases
the evil kafirs by their sinful traces
driven by angels made to walk on their faces

    fifty thousand years we wait
to hear of what will be our fate
    thankfull slave or low ingrate
depths of hell or Jannahs gate.

    O Lord....
You have bestowed me of your grace
help me battle to earn my place
among the best of the human race
that one day I might see your face

Help me be a righteous man
give me knowledge so I can
grow in the light of our Islam
and build a tower of imaan

    Re: My poetry thread

Lonely night and it just gets colder
the depth of her pain is another year older
If only shed listened when her mother told her
the drugs and vice were going to mould her

just sixteen when the streets enticed
an innocent girl to a life of vice
to exist this way you pay a price
the world is cold like sheer black ice

    First it was pot
    and not such a lot
    and the men she met
    helped her forget
    that the first in line
    was lost in time
    but it feels so bad
    when raped by dad.

At first she numbed the aching pain
by running far and staying sane
but now she has to stab a veign
to feel at all, to try again

Money came when she laid with men
she was in demand way back then
shed aged 4 years but it felt like ten
robbed of her looks by heroin

Lawyers , doctors, police and others
would take her body on filthy covers
then go back home to their faithful lovers
stole her soul yet noone bothers

Men had ruined the poor girls life
ruined her chance to become a wife
ruined her body and left her strife
one of them ruined her with a knife

    Lay on the floor
    this low class *****
    could feel the blood
    as it started to pour
    He slashed her arm
    and stabbed her back
    then kicked her face
    and stole her smack
    visions came
    a face in the rain
    men all the same
    had caused her pain
    she had been slain
    a life in vain
    a lonely death
    a dirty stain
    she felt insane
    and noone came
    to sooth her anxious sobs.

The girl was filth the girl was scum
then she knew that shed hurt her mum
As she lay dying in a backyard slum
She cried to God "send someone"

Thats when the sister of Islam
heard her cries and quickly ran
to help the girl that was her plan
to help a victim of a sickening man

To late now she was nearly dead
The sister sat supporting her head
and told the girl in this time of dread
of the one sweet man who loved instead

"There once was a men better by far
than the rest of them,he was a star
to lead them out of this dark dunya
    the greatest man, Rasulullah" (pbuh)

"Within his heart there was no sin
he would never have hurt the body your in
he would only have helped you kick the pin
and helped you grow from deep within"

In her last few moments the girl held tight
the sisters hand and tried to fight
to hear more of the man of light
but death was here and now in sight

"I beleive you" , through the blood and bile
her voice was lost, this scene so vile
prooved to be her winning trial
she looked at the sister and died with a smile,

*shakes head in awe* I really don't know where to start lol. I wanted to pick out the lines that most reflected the depth of your heart and mind, not to mention your way with words, but there are just too many! I don't think you're really aware of the magnitude of talent Allah has blessed you with. Please bro, if you can.. imagine me begging you to publish your own book of Islamic poems. Wallahi, I'd be really sad if you didn't. Bi idhnillah, you can inspire people to change their lives through your poetry. I am sure!

Inspiring, emotional, clever and funny too.. this line was just what an observation and incoporation into your poetry LOL!

You have a quality to you writting that sets you apart too, the ability to form lumps in the throats of remote readers is a gift, you too should publish a book, I will buy first copy

    Re: My poetry thread

He walked for miles that dreadful day
    in hope of getting bread
the blisters weeping on his feet
should have wept for him instead

For he kissed his mum and left at dawn
    he headed for the town
at 6 years old he knew to well
    he couldnt let them down

The sellers were few as men were scared
    and forced by enemy fire
to cower in the merky depths
    lest violence they inspire

So the little boy looked long and hard
    a tireless infants quest
to support the ones who loved him most
    he searched without a rest

    Eventually he came across
a loaf both stale and dry
through strength of love witheld desires
to break and eat and cry

Miles again, his walk was hard
but his parents now would eat
his mum would cry and fetch a pale
    and wash his bleeding feet

But he would look into her eyes
    and smile an aged smile
even though hes 6 years old
    hed repeat every mile

The deepest wound he could endure
    the aching sores and pain
    would melt away to nothing
as his mum had bread again

He turned the last street corner
    and took a double take
he must have come the wrong way
    there must be some mistake

He dropped the bread and ran toward
    the rouble in the place
that used to be his home and now
of it there was no trace

    screaming, sickening the sound
    to make an angel cry
the depth of loss at 6 years old
he wished that he could die

His mother lying smashed and dead
    his fathers body burnt
their legs and arms were twisted
of pain this boy had learned

A little boy with an empty plate
the victim of a religious hate
    orphaned by a terrorist state
    awaits his written fate.

    And the tanks roll in................

    Re: My poetry thread

Been looking at life through a golden haze
trying to make a difference in different ways
Gonna help out big time one of these days
change the world, or so he says

    But his.............

    deeds are worthless
    words are mirthless
he believes in gods and his gods
    are SURPLUSS
Will never get it right coz his god
    is JESUS(pbuh)
he wants to save souls and it makes
    me NERVOUS

Hes been to Africa to save mens souls
but his system of belief is riddled with holes
Down through Europe for spiritual gain
and along with the cross he brought blood and pain
he came in the guise of the king of Etheopia
his intention clear, was to destroy Allahs Kabbah
stopped dead in his tracks in the heart of Arabia
birds with rocks came to stone the blasphemer.

hes a modern guy from a modern brand
from a modern church in a modern land
hes got modern faith in a godly man
from the 5th revision of the king james plan

Hes edged his bets, hes born again
    he evangalises now and then
his love is proof hes the best of his kind
but hes lost to God and his eyes are blind

    him and his kin
    are free from sin
    a man came along
    and took it for him
    took for his own
    and he realy believed
    the seeds hes sown
    will not be retreived
    But the day will come
    he,ll find no-one
    no saviour god/man
    and nowhere to run

    He needs to.........

    Look round
    throw down
    shirk belief and kneel down
    seek the light of Islam
    listen to the pure sound
    of Adhan
    calling man
    back toward the real plan
    by the grace of Allah
    building up our imaan
open up his heart and feed it with
    the Qur'an
be greeted by the brothers who wish him only
    salaam
    Turn his back
    get back on track
leave the system that is nought but
    Haraam

Ask forgiveness of the one and only Planner
live his life in an Islamic manner
becuase then and only then will he ever get to
    Jannah.

    The Returning

Like the windblown chaff of a sifted crop
    their fates were scattered wide,
    Bourne away and lodged therein
    the places they would hide

    A wretchedness that tortures them
    no other can console
As only God alone doth know
    the blight upon their souls

Dispute ye not their guilt and blame
    nor quantify their shame
far worse than devils are those men
    who murder, rape and maim

    Butchered they, the innocent
    made captives of the free
    they starved and mutilated
    experimentally

The once strong monsters of the Reich
    now aged bags of bone
hidden among us, cling to life
    each facing death alone

Haunted by the foul and rotten
    deeds, of which they're forced
    to contemplate,thier reviled acts
    of the nazi holocaust

Yet you and I might chance a smile
    of passive retribution
As death doth grip their putrid souls
    in hellish execution

Ours is not to hate or scorn
    ours is but to warn
    of the recompense awaiting all
from the moment we are born

So judge ye not, lest ye be judged
    the evil we percieve
as only Allah knows the hearts
    of people who believe

we hurt for the sake of the souls of our brothers
we cry and releasing the gripping that smothers
our emaans increase when we let go of lovers.

The struggles and pain are a testing decree
when Haraam lusting is built up in thee
Though happiness earned on bended knee

The sisters and brothers who earnestly cry
to drown out the whispering Devils who try
    inviting to flames, fornicators fry
These Muslims are pure and their emaan is high.

So take it from one who has loved and released
that refraining from lust saves two from the beast,
that your love of Allah is bound to increase
when the pain feels like death but brings you peace.

Stories of happiness, struggles and pain
play out in our hearts with love and disdain
saying goodbye is like cutting a vein
but turning from Jannah is nought but insane.
