I once again ask for your forgiveness for the delay, the entries shall be posted here shortly in the order I received them in. Once I have compiled all the entries sent to me, I shall compose a poll(a public one that is) where members can vote on whom had the best story( of course I had the luxury of going through most of the stories, all of them are wonderful in their own regard ) ! Without further ado, lets begin!
I have to confess that I wrote 'The Tramp'. It's the first time I have written a story since I left school over 25 years ago - so this was quite exciting for me! I wrote it simply as it came into my head and only tweaked minor things thereafter.

Touching story, dearest glo, I know you've written that the story simply popped into your head but did any of it happen to you? I mean, did any of the experiences occur in your life? Or to any of your acquaintances?

25 years ago? I did not exist. What kind of stories did they used to write and what type of equipment did they use, a quil pen? Or were stories designed in the brain and then memorized?...was the story written/memorized in the german language?

I have really enjoyed reading all your stories and have been impressed (and put to shame) by the standard and detailed efforts by the other entries. Next year I'll know what I am up against!

well done sis Glo. It was a good story. differnet ppl write in different ways. Some write the story as they think of it - or rather make it up as they write (I'm that sort) and then make a few changes here and there. While others plan a plot outline and use that to write the story. and still others have to think of the whole story before they write it. It's best to know which method works best for you.

I had no plans of writing just did buh didn't do a good job Lol should have checked b4 entering buh Alhumdulilah at least it helped me get my mind off of things that were gng on that time. Alhumdulilah that's over.

There was a young homeless guy outside our local store for some months a couple of years ago. He did not have a dog, but he did disappear and I haven't seen him since.
I tried to reflect in my story how it made me feel to see him outside the store every evening and how it challenged my perceptions.
We did get chatting at times, although never to the degree as I described in the story ...
I now support a Winternight Shelter project, where local churches open their doors overnight to homeless people during the coldest winter months to offer shelters, warmth, safety, food and company. I guess that triggered my memories.

It was sort of a true story well some parts of it.
I guess I did n I guess that's the reason y I added it in. I wrote that story wen something was gng on InshaAllah will send u a pm you'll know.
Wen Eva I write a story i usually look around n write abt stuff that's gng on n wen I write abt it I kinda a feel better n u know what I kinda learn from it too.
The reason y I wrote this story is that well I've been searching for Allah's love for a long long time n this is what I learnt n I wanted ppl to learn sumfin frm that story.
