My troubles have accumulated and peace has depreciated
With nothing to put a smile on my face
And nothing to pull me out of this deep hole
I let my tears falls down, all the way down, down to the ground
I cry my tired eyes out repeatedly in distress
Knowing that these were tears of sorrow, tears of pain
I realize that something meaningful is missing
Something of comfort, of great incitement
Then I see it clearly in my heart
That what I need is a long, meaningful sajdah
Where I can see a lingering glow and endless hope
A sajdah where I can be close to Allah
And ask for the guidance, the love, and the patience
That I need to carry on and reassure myself
This sajdah, oh so relieving, is a gift from Allah
And this gift from our Lord, we must learn to cherish
My troubles have accumulated and peace has depreciated
With nothing to put a smile on my face
And nothing to pull me out of this deep hole
I let my tears falls down, all the way down, down to the ground
I cry my tired eyes out repeatedly in distress
Knowing that these were tears of sorrow, tears of pain
I realize that something meaingful is missing
Something of comfort, of great incitement
Then I see it clearly in my heart
That what I need is a long, meaningful sajdah
Where I can see a lingering glow and endless hope
A sajdah where I can be close to Allah
And ask for the guidance, the love, and the patience
That I need to carry on and reassure myself
This sajdah, oh so relieving, is a gift from Allah
And this gift from our Lord, we must learn to cherish
So sweet it's a nice poem
