Unable to hold on,
Drowning, chocking in my own sweat,
Unable to breathe, unable to think,
I fall to my knees, and wonder…
Why all this fire?
because I can no longer stay strong,
I’m falling deeper,
Barely holding on,
My conscience is broken,
My focus all gone,
I can’t take this anymore,
No hope, no reason, how am I supposed to know?
Whether you’d love me, once more
I try turning to you, begging for forgiveness,
But I’m thinking it’s too late,
Done too much, no way to escape,
Wishing I can turn back time,
I wouldn’t have made so many mistakes,
Ya’allah, I pray to you, I repent,
Please forgive me for my mistakes I never meant,
Would you take me once more, and allow me to believe,
And would you bless me with your light, after this pain is conceived.
