self destruction

Don’t tell me about the destruction,
I can already see mankind’s corruption.
You think that I don’t understand it at all, but I aint no hollow wall.
I’m stronger now then I ever was, I strive to achieve the purity of this call.
Don’t try to hold me back, and push me away, the more you try to lead me astray the more I want to strive for Allah’s way.
Don’t think for a second that your sins may influence me, don’t think for a second that it could be me.
I’ve purified my heart from this insanity.
Yea, I’ve committed indecency in the past, but repentance for it has only made my faith last.
Don’t think that I’m one of you, because I aint at all.
I strive to pray day after day when I hear the unity of the call.
I’m not like you in any way or form; I’ve changed my ways, and trust me I’ve reformed.
Committing to the good that I’m content within myself, committing to the faith that I’m happy with myself, committing my life to stay pure that I’ve built up that awe.
Taqwa is within me and use it to pace myself.
I don’t plan for the future that I may not live to see, I don’t plan on spreading any more misery.
Fast cars, yea I used to dream, but in the end I became serene, the fascinations that I wanted to be alive just began to eat at me inside.
Don’t let the lust or your sins become your obsession, that you loose the understanding of this life, which determines your final destination.
Let me understand you, so that I can help, don’t drown yourself in your own guilt, that what you see and hear, you just misunderstand.
Don’t hold back, listen to the call, and build up your Iman.
Strive, just strive for all the good that you can achieve, don’t hold back and let this life become your misery.
Achieve all that you can, be content and serene. Live in tranquillity that you now finally see.
The veil, that blinded you for so long, now finally comes off.
You’ve broken the chains that held you captive; Almighty has guided you, so that you may see. Don’t stray away; don’t be influenced to do so. Because in the end it’s not to a peaceful place they go.
