Brother why do differences part us, even though we follow the same path?
Sister why do you keep repeating that I’m trapped in god’s wrath?
Brother why cannot we stand united and fight, for the same cause that we both know is right?
Sister why do you not let me into your home, telling other’s not to come near, and I’m better off alone?
Brother why do you judge me, do to the colour of my skin, even though I follow the same true religion?
Sister why do you not greet me with a smile, telling the other sisters you don’t want to stay here where I am for a while?
Brother why do you shun me, and avoid me like some disease?
Sister why do you walk away, saying Allah will not be pleased?
Brother why do you not understand the five pillars of Islam?
Sister why do you not understand the meaning of your iman?
Brother s and sisters, we are united to make a stand, so please lets look beyond the caste and colour , lets instead look at religion and follow the pious, for don’t we all want to be righteous slaves, as its to Allah our heart and soul we gave.
ManshaAllah I really think that was a great poem. I hope our brother and sisters understand and read carefully coz it is really explaining the truth of our situation.
