Is there anyone here that has done or is doing a degree in Linguistics?
I need some help inshaAllah
I never did pursue a degree in linguistic, but throughout my college years I took numerous linguistic courses. I may be able to answer a few questions. The first and probably most important question (before you ask) is why I did not pursue a degree in it.
Although I love the study of linguistics, it is of very little value in the job world. In some ways it is more like a degree in philosophy. very interesting, of great enjoyment, but not of much demand in the world of having to earn a living.
