I'm not a fan.. but it is ok in Islam.
But it is better to mary outside your family as that increases the Ummah.
It doesn't stay concentrated (in the family) that way...
And by the way .. you can do da3wah then to your new in-laws if they have poor imaan.
Well, there's always the advantage of knowing the person's whole life (in most cases) when they're your cousin, so you know them well before marriage, but marrying a stranger doesn't that advantage. But marrying a cousin? I don't think I could ever do that, it's weird, people who are so close to you and you've grown up with them, getting married and having a different relation than the ordinary cousin-cousin chit chats...nuh uh, they're almost like my brothers and sisters (we're all around the same age).
^ I agree about the advantage of knowing the person all their life and it is true. And parents will be happier and more at ease.
However if the family observe full hijaab, i.e do not mingle with cousins of the opposite gender, then the girl and boy would only know about one another from the parents/ family. And thus still be kinda 'new' to one another.
This being said, i dont see myself marrying my cousins.

Erm, neutral. I'm not against them, the Shar'ah basically allows them, but the scholars said it's better to marry someone who's not a relative, for plenty of reasons.
Here, in Bosnia and near countries, Muslims don't like this type of marriage at all (but they also know very little about Islam, communism etc.), and therefore the relatives marriage here is veeeeery, very rare.
In times of difficulties don't ever say, "Allah, I have a big problem!", say "Hey problem, I have a big Allah!"
im not a fan but its ok n my sisters married to my cousin n shes happy so i guess it is successful.my mums married to her cousin too lolz it happens here alot.

I don't know which countries u guys are from. but back home in Pakistan, when i was about 7, they had already decided who i was goin to marry. when i was 15 my mom told me i was gonna marry some next cousin of mine. that **** pisses me off.
