So how did you spend your first day of Ramadan? and what did you break your fast on?
This day went rather fast (for me) I was sleep deprived for a few days, and though we had guests today I could barely keep my eyes open..
I woke up 15 mins shy of breakfast.. we had a feat but I wasn't very hungry.. to be honest I still want to sleep some more.. it is catching up with me the deprivation of the past two weeks...
we had rotisserie chicken today, some spinach burek?
stuffed courgettes except ours were stuffed with meat
taro soup
lamb chops
other things which I can't remember as I wasn't sitting on that side of the table..
for drinks we had
Roselle
milk and that thing calles 'khoshaf' I don't know what that is in English..
and qatayef for desert
which I don't care for, so I had oatmeal instead..
Just had toast and tea and then watermelon. Alhamdulilah.
Pain and hardships allow you to grow spiritually Alhamdulilah so smile when a so called calamity befalls upon you.
Alhamdulilah Allah swt is the greatest.
Don't be so greedy brother Farhan...gimmie a good chunk of that cake!
Last night's iftar: went to a masjid and they served a plate of rice with lentils, chicken carrot stew, and beef. I gave the beef away to the lady across from me.
This morning's suhoor: flat bread with scrambled eggs, and banana smoothie.
We're running out of dates. Gonna go shopping today, hopefully they have the big chubby ones I like in stock
Iftar: Sausage wrapped with some bread or something lol; Dates; Ava coda Juice/Smoothie; Porridge; Noodles with beans
Suhoor: Rice with curry and beef, some sweets, water, watermelon and papaya
He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him [59:23]
Iftar:
tea, medicine, and yogurt mixed by banana
Dinner:
Kuku of potato, bread, ice cream, Fereni, and Persian melon, water, malt soft beverage, tea, plus some date
(ice cream in a constant part of my dinner these days)
