That sounds fab, Banu_Hashim. Please do!
I was talking to our vicar last Saturday.
We have been trying to forge links with our local masjid for some time, and he is hoping to get a joint meal together for Eid. We may not be able to arrange it in time for this year (there always seem to be certain resistant elements on both sides) - but if we don't manage it this year, we can always start planning for next Ramadan.
So I would be really interested in your experience and your feedback.
(PM me with any information which goes beyond this thread)
Peace glo
Here I stand.
I can do no other.
May God help me.
Amen.
Come, let us worship and bow down •
and kneel before the Lord our Maker
[Psalm 95]
Lol... Of course... That's a promo brother Northern, we are brothers to Thai people and we just live beside each other
Yeah... I think that their food for iftar must be very special and of course way sweeter than us... but the bombings and killings there are not so good for them...

Like thousands of other Calgary Muslims, the 32-year-old proprietor of Tazza, a popular Lebanese deli in Bridgeland, today begins the spiritual endurance test of Ramadan, the holy month for followers of Islam, during which observers engage in self-purification through fasting.
Today, there are an estimated 60,000 Muslims in Calgary in all walks of life.
