    Re: D amn!

Does it really bother you that this forum doesn't print the word d amn? Get with it, admins are not going to edit the profane words for a limited member like you...Even I cant request them to make d amn a non profane word on this forum, despite I being a certified spammer

    Re: D amn!

Oh, of course not. We know you're a good soul, masha-Allah.

We're not going to go spreading rumors... "OMGIZZLE! DIDJA HEAR?!??!?! HUZZY_786 CUSSES!!! OOOOHHHH, IM GONNA TELL HIS MOMMA!!!"

Nah. We're not like that. We're understanding.

Though, whereas I may not cuss myself nor do I use the word myself, I do believe D a m n could be uncensored.

    Re: D amn!

It should totally be uncensored... It's used often in religious contexts, and it's by no means a "bad" word...

    Re: D amn!

    Assalamu Alaikum

I think it would depend on the context it is being used...and it doesn't sound like you'll be using it in an islamic context

I saw this once and it really made me realize how sad it really would be if we get into these bad habits of saying worthless words and how it is possible that they become our last words because we haven't trained our tongues to say good things. Imagine if you were about to get hit by another car or something (Allah forbid) and saying "oh bleeep!" and those ended up being your last words instead of the shahada because it didn't roll off the tongue as easily.

Inshallah just change your habit of saying the word or learn better words!

Now this is just general advice for everyone inshallah and I don't want you thinking I assume you curse all the time or that you have any bad intent.

Well, I don't use it personally because I consider it a bad word. Though, I do use words like "dang" or "darn." It's subjective, right?

Although, majority of us here are adults so I don't see the problem with uncensoring it. And as you said, it's used in religious context/
