We have modified the homepage style to make it look less cluttered and give more emphasis to threads instead of section names. Please check the new design by selecting style "IslamicBoard-2" from the drop-down menu at the bottom.
We are looking for your suggestions to improve it further.

I quite like the featured threads slideshow...but I overall preferred the layout of the old homepage. It's quick to navigate and easier on the eyes.
eta: it's back to normal now, so ignore that.
Old homepage the best.
PS: Section text fonts would be better bigger.

It is better in terms of activity. Forum categories are secondary in today's world. They are more likely replaced by tags.

This is confusing. When I click Forum, I get Search - New posts.It takes time to feel this looks familiar. Now it looks like I would come totally new, strange forum.

OMG ewwww! Please give option to revert back to old style, as this is not nice. IB and IB 2 nothing is reverting back to the old style. Please sort!

Why does it display the different threads underneath the featured threads?
I love the featured threads idea though Jazahka Allah.
