    I've seen in other forums a 'shout box' feature....I was wondering if it could also be introduced, to reduce off-topic posting......

    True ..but!!?? a shoutbox on LI?? the halal section has been amputated...i doubt ..wallaahu a3lam, that they'll put up a shoutbox!!
    what will be the benefits of it anyways.??.....i could see ppl getting carried away in there already

    ive never seen a clown laughing..they actually symbolise sadness and the social mask people put on everyday..and...a shoutbox would be useless in this forum coz sometimes, going off topic leads to better results and accuracy...when ill things are spoken of, we are redirected by the ones around us anyway...
