WEll! I have a little suggestion, don't know what the others will think of it, but here goes nothing! (Well it's actually a something, but i meant, I'll just take a chance.)
You know how the "rep" points encourage people to post good, thoughtful posts? Well..........what if we also added a little more spice? What if you somehow (i don't know if it would be only moderators or the admin or what :confused: ) picked a "Poster of the month." (Or week..or 2 weeks..or whatever amount of time. I mean it would be kinda hard for a month since there could be so0o0 many good posts in one month.......:zip: so whatever suits you guys...if it suits u at all...)
I know it would be really hard to figure out and everything- I just thought it would help increase more and more intelligent posts!

Yeh, I agree. That does sound like a good idea. Maybe there should be some kind of vote. I don't know if that would work or not. It's up2 the admins I guess.
Click on 'Quick Links' at the top and select 'Member of the Month'
To nominate a member, simply click the link thats 'Nominate Now' under his/her avatar, write the reason for the nomination and click on the submit button
OMG! I am so surprised! That happened so quick. i was preparing myself with ayaat like "خِتَامُهُ مِسْكٌ وَفِي ذَلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَ" so that i could convince the admin that a little competition would be good! Jazak Allah koli khair! I'm thrilled!!
So... what actually happens once someone wins? Do they just get 'poster of the month' status, or do they receive a nifty prize as well?

Lol, you cannot nominate yourself. Once you click submit [after writin' the reason for nomination], you will receive an error.
^loq. But i didn't necessarily mean i did want to change my vote . I was talking more about the accuracy of the thing- i mean, let's be honest- since that person was nominated last he didn't get a chance to get all the votes he might have gotten. :confused:. Would the others have received all those votes if he had bee nominated in the first place? <-- that's pretty much what I'm trying to get at!
However, i'm not trying to add more work to the admin!! Changing everybody's vote could take a long time, right? I just wanted to point this out so that it won't happen again next month, insha Allah!
