would just like to recommend 2 books one on Islam and one for general reading
i think its important for us to study human nature and its extremes, it makes us more thankful to Allah for his guidance and makes us open our eyes to the world
for this i recommend the Rape of Nanking by Iris Chang
and
The World Of The Angels by Sheikh Abdu'l-Hamid Kishk.
