Business meeting between male and females??

Trading in markets has always been permissible between males and females. Origin is permissibility and therefore unless an act of impermissibility is introduced, it remains so. Closed door meeting between one man and one woman turning it private makes it impermissible for example for the establishment of forbidden "Kholwa", but a clear glass or window board room or presence of mix of people maintains permissibility.

The following fatwa in arabic (sorry wasn't easy to find one in English) explains that "kholwa" is a man and a woman being together privately, and it is permissible for a group of women with one man as corruption is prevented this way, and so is one woman with men if she is confident she is safe from group corruption (like a business place and an open door etc.). Most scholars agreed that forbidden "kholwa" is negated with the presence of a third woman, man, or comprehending child. It also details that hijab and behaviour has to be maintained in full of course.

والصحيح ـ كما سبق بيانه في الفتوى رقم: 31014 ـ جواز خلوة رجال بامرأة إن أمنت الفتنة والريبة من تواطئهم على الفحش وكذلك جواز خلوة رجل بنسوة لعدم المفسدة غالبا فإذا خشيت المفسدة لم يجز ويدل على ذلك قول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: لا يدخلن رجل بعد يومي هذا على مغيبة إلا ومعه رجل أو رجلان. رواه مسلم.

وقد نص جماعة من الفقهاء على أن الخلوة المحرمة تنتفي بحضور رجل أو امرأة أخرى أو صبي مميز يستحيى منه.

وعلى ذلك فلا بأس بالوضع المذكور في السؤال من اجتماع السائل الكريم مع أكثر من امرأة أو اجتماعه بامرأة واحدة في وجود غيره من الرجال بحيث يكون ذلك بقدر الحاجة وتحقق المصلحة مع التزام الآداب الإسلامية من كلا الطرفين كغض البصر وعدم خضوع النساء بالقول والتزامهن بالحجاب.
